Christmas Lunch

Today we held our Christmas Lunch for the children.  The rooms were decorated, the seasonal songs were playing and the sprouts were ready and waiting….  Emma did an amazing job of dishing up dinner after dinner to the excited crowds and the sound of crackers cracking and good times filled the dining room and class 2.  Before the meal the children made themselves some place mats and party hats that really gave the lunch a party atmosphere.  The meal was finished off with a  gift for each of the children to unwrap and take home – a big thank you to Mrs Bingley for sorting, wrapping, labelling and delivering all of these – a HUGE task!

We would  like to take this opportunity to say a massive thank you to the Mottershaws for donating the fabulous tree that we have in our dining room.  Since it went up, it has signalled the arrival of Christmas and the children love it.  THANK YOU 🙂
