EIS 2014 – Indoor Athletics
I’m exhausted; that’s the last time I watch the juniors do so much athletics on one day, I’m totally worn out!
We were all so proud of the achievements the children made today at the English Institute of Sport in Sheffield as part of the annual indoor athletics competition that Ruth Cook and HVC put on for the cluster schools. There was an incredible range of events including sprints, middle-distance, relays, javelin, shot, long jump and high jump, and all got to compete in a large number of them.
A particular well done to all those who were placed in their races as the competition was of a very high standard, and a special mention to Abbie who overcame nerves to take not one, but two first places!!!
I took one or two photos:
Thank you to Ruth and all the people from HVC who made today possible.
