Stranger Danger

We were very lucky today to be visited by PCSO Boswell.  He went into every class and talked to us in small groups about ‘Stranger Danger’ and how to keep ourselves safe.  He even sat with some of us to eat his dinner which was very exciting!

The talks were very interesting.  Ask your child what they learnt and found out – they should be able to tell you what to do if they are approached by a stranger and also that danger can come from people who they recognise as well.  The bottom line being that they should always tell someone if they are approached for a chat or asked to do something or just feel that something isn’t right.  All the children practiced their screaming and were very, very loud!

A big thank you to PCSO Boswell for giving up his time and coming into school.  Hopefully we will see him soon to talk about ‘Road Safety’ now the evenings are getting darker.
