Cracking Cross-Country

WOW!!  34 of our pupils put themselves forward to take part in the Hope Valley Cluster Cross Country Competition today.  I am really proud that over half of the school volunteered to take part as the course is not a short one to say the least.

Our Class 3 team came 6th in the Valley, when all the scores were added up.

Our Class 2 team came 4th in the Valley…..and

Our Class 1 team came an amazing 2nd overall in the Valley – Woo hoo!!

I am extremely pleased to announce that Maddy, Toby and Heidi qualified fast enough to get through to the Regional Competition – how amazing is that?!

A special mention must go out to Matilda in Y2 as well, as she came an incredibly 3rd girl back for her age group.  Unfortunately, regionals don’t start until the children are in Year 5 – what a shame.

Congratulations everyone!
