What a brilliant day we have had today.  It was the official training for our Year 5 Change4Life Champions.  We travelled over to The Arc in Matlock and met up with 11 other schools who were also there for the training.

After lunch Janice Price, our Rural Derbyshire School Sport’s Partnership leader, welcomed everyone and started the training by handing out the School Games Mark Awards.  Above is our Champions accepting our Silver Award.

After that the children then learnt how to plan activities to run and had a full on afternoon trying lots of different ideas out.  They didn’t stop moving for a good couple of hours!!
