The Thinkers….

In Artist Club tonight we looked at Auguste Rodin, who was a French sculptor born in 1840.  We have been thinking a lot about ‘thinking’ as it was World Thinking Day yesterday, so we decided to look at one of Rodin’s most famous pieces of work….The Thinker.

What do you think about our foil sculptures?  they were quite difficult to make because if you ripped your foil too much your head dropped off or your arm!

It is really cool to see the art work that the children have produced at home.  This is Eva’s very fabulous pony.

I am also really pleased to see the art books that the children are bringing in and their genuine interest in the artists of the world.
