Part Three: Consultation and Engagement

We aim to engage and consult with pupils, staff, parents and carers and the local community so we can improve our information, learn about the impact of our policies, develop our equality objectives and improve what we can do.

Our main activities for consultation and engaging are:

• Twice yearly parent teacher consultations
• Parent questionnaires in line with OFSTED questionnaires
• Open door policy for parents and carers
• Newsletters
• Up to date website
• Governor involvement in behaviour and safety observations
• Parental and carer involvement in activities within school eg. Running club, reading etc
• Information meetings for parents and carers e.g. New Starters meeting
• Assemblies and performances where parents and carers are warmly invited to join us
