Class Organisation

At present the school is organized into three teaching groups.  Additional adults support small groups within the classes, enabling the school to meet the needs of individual pupils and to ensure that they achieve the highest standards.

Class 1: Reception, Y1 and Y2 – taught by Mrs Clifton

Class 2: Y3 and Y4 – taught by Miss Village 

Class 3: Y5 and Y6 – taught by Mr Petts

Staffing

As a small school, all staff work very closely in providing a family-friendly environment aimed at providing the best learning opportunities combined with superb pastoral care.

The school also employs various specialist teachers in order to enhance our curriculum. These include foreign language, Music and Tai Chi.

The School Day

08:45 – School doors and gates open.  Children can put lunches on the trolley, teacher on morning break on duty in the yard. The side gate and playground gates are padlocked at 09.00

08:55 – Whistle goes. Children line up on the bottom playground in classes.

08:55 – 09:00 – Registration

09:00 – 09:20 – Assembly in Class 1

09:20 – 10:20 – Lessons

10:20 – 10:35 – Morning Break

10:35 – 12:00 – Lessons

12:00 – 13:00 – Lunchtime

13:30 – 15:15 – Lessons

15:15 – End of school, teachers in yard to see off children and to be available for parents

*Please note:  Parents are responsible for their own children until 8.45am when the member of staff on duty is on the yard.  You are also responsible for your own children when they have been handed over at the end of the day.
