Pupil Premium

The Pupil Premium is funding allocated to schools for the specific purpose of boosting the attainment of pupils from low-income or disadvantaged families. The funding is based on children who have registered for a free school meal at any point in the last 6 years, children who have been in care for more than six months and children whose parents are currently serving in the armed forces.

• One to one work during school times / small group intervention sessions / small group and individual targeted support
• In class targeted support, either directly by the teaching assistant or by the class teacher whilst the teaching assistant leads another aspect of the lesson
