School Organisation
Class Organisation
At present the school is organised into three teaching groups. Additional adults support small groups within the classes, enabling the school to meet the needs of individual pupils and to ensure that they achieve the highest standards.
Class 1: Reception, Y1 and Y2 – taught by Mrs Slack
Class 2: Y3 and Y4 – taught by Miss Moore
Class 3: Y5 and Y6 – taught by Mrs Crease
Staffing
As a small school, all staff work very closely in providing a family-friendly environment aimed at providing the best learning opportunities combined with superb pastoral care.

The School Day
08:40 – School doors and gates open. Children are met by staff and encouraged to go into their classroom to start morning activities. The playground gates are closed at 08:55, children arriving after this time need to come to reception.
08:45 – 09:00 – Registration
09:00 – 10:00 – Lessons
10:00 – 10:15 – Assembly (Monday – Friday)
10:15 – 10:30 – Morning Break
10:35 – 12:00 – Lessons
12:00 – 13:00 – Lunchtime
13:00 – 15:15 – Lessons
15:15 – End of school, teachers in yard to see off children and to be available for parents
*Please note: Parents are responsible for their own children until they enter school. You are also responsible for your own children when they have been handed over at the end of the day.
Total hours provided are 32.5 hours a week.
